Our breakfasts are the talk of the town. We use locally sourced quality products such as Catalan tomato bread, a selection of local cold meats and sausages, cheeses… and we only use extra virgin olive oil.
For those with a sweet tooth, we offer croissants and homemade cakes, toast, homemade jams, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts and nuts…
Guests can choose between the different Nespresso coffee varieties and we also are very knowledgeable about tea.
If our guests have dietary requirements we offer soya milk, gluten free bread or whatever. Please ask us.
One of the best ways to enjoy Cal Compte is by having breakfast on our terrace just as the sun starts to appear in the morning.
LUNCH AND EVENING MEALS
We believe that our cooking should be simple, based on locally sourced quality products. Our evening meals are always by appointment.
We have an excellent wine list based on wines from DOCa. Priorat, DO Montsant and other wine appellations. You may purchase and taste wines from our list at any time.
The Priorat region has a lot of open air leisure areas, especially around little chapels or hermitages which are located in idyllic areas. A lunch in the vineyards can also be very charming. Either on foot or by bicycle there are an endless number of nature spots to have a picnic.
Cal Compte will prepare a picnic hamper for you according to your preferences.
Cal Compte’s “Calçotades” are quite the experience!
We only offer them during the months of February and March and only for groups.
Cal Compte uses fresh “Calçots” (cross between a spring onion and a leek). We cook them on an open fire using vine cuttings. We also use the embers to cook the meat later on which serves as the second course.
The day before, we offer a cooking class to learn how to make the special sauce.
